FINISH
THE PRINT
The photograph is printed on a MATTE or GLOSSY plexiglass surface.
MOUNTING – LAMINATION
Mounting is a technique used to provide rigid support to fine art photographs. This method consists of bonding the print onto an aluminum composite panel.
The material is thin and lightweight, composed of a polyethylene core sandwiched between two thin aluminum sheets, giving it both rigidity and lightness:
- 2 mm thickness (or 3 mm for EXCEPTION format)
- Ideal for large formats due to its light weight
In gallery or on Yellowkorner.com, you can order your mounted print with an "invisible frame" or a floating frame in wood or aluminum.
ACRYLIC GLASS FINISHES
GLOSSY ACRYLIC GLASS
- Enhances the colors of the photograph
- Ideal for colorful prints
- Best suited for rooms with moderate lighting
- Adds depth and brilliance to the print
MATTE ACRYLIC GLASS
- Eliminates reflections and gives a smooth finish
- Ideal for black and white or dark-tone prints
- Best suited for brightly lit rooms

FRAME
After mounting, the print is inserted into a custom-made frame in solid wood or brushed aluminum, hand-assembled with a thickness of 480 mm. The space between the frame and the image creates a floating effect that adds depth to the artwork.
- On the back of the frame, two easy-to-hang hooks.
- The certificate of authenticity (including artwork details, artist biography, and edition number) is affixed at the center of the frame.
FLOATING FRAME
This type of frame leaves a 20 mm or 7 mm space between the print and the frame, creating an elegant floating effect.
Available in 6 to 10 colors and finishes, with 5 wood and 5 aluminum options.
