MIROIR ET BROUILLARD
Bordeaux is the second richest French city in terms of classified monuments: a boon for photographer Laurent Dequick. In this series devoted to Bordeaux, the photographer pays tribute to the city’s architectural heritage. The facade of the quays, the Place de la Bourse and the Grand-Théâtre are all symbols that currently characterise the look of the city. Dating from the eighteenth century, the luxurious period of its expansion, they are the work of the intendants Boucher and Tourny, who transformed this medieval centre into a bright, modern city. ...
