Stéphane Noll came to photography by a circuitous route. First a high-level sportsman, he entered the image trade through video production of extreme sports such as freefall or canyoning. It was only after the death of his father, a former press photographer, that the idea of trying his hand at photography germinated. Since then, he has multiplied collaborations and exhibitions. One of these is scheduled for September 2023 in Sarreguemines, in Moselle, and focuses on his landscape photos. He also offers photography training workshops for individuals or groups in his city, Nancy, or on trips that he organises himself. He is never afraid of not finding what he’s looking for: “Photographers must constantly adapt and cope as best they can with the uncertainty of conditions,” he explains. “I have regularly set out with a very specific photo in mind only to return with a completely different shot.”
