Alexandra BUXBAUM

Alexandra Buxbaum is a photographer and visual artist whose work explores the power of storytelling through images. Over the years, she has developed a practice widely recognized for its sensitive perspective, exhibited in more than 85 shows across galleries, museums, photography festivals, and cultural centers in the United States and internationally. Her lectures and artist talks are regularly hosted by cultural and academic institutions, where she shares her approach to documentary and fine art photography. In 2022, she was invited to participate in the U.S. Department of State’s Art in Embassies program, exhibiting her work in Bujumbura, Burundi. A recipient of numerous awards, including the International Photography of the Year Awards (IPOTY), Moscow International Foto Awards, Analog Sparks International Film Photography Awards, the NCOA Merit Award, the Paris Photo Prize, and the Monovision Black & White Photography Awards, Alexandra Buxbaum continues to build a body of work that combines artistic rigor with narrative depth.
