A self-taught photographer and artistic director in Paris, Charles Duc has an atypical background. A professional accountant, he embarked on his exploration of photography when the iPhone 3GS was released. That was in 2009, with three megapixels at his fingertips, Charles Duc experimented in his daily life, enriching his knowledge online and through various specialty literature. Eager to share his art, he has since fixed himself the goal of publishing one photo per day on his Instagram account, exploring different styles and techniques. Music – from Kanye West to Snoh Alegra or James Blake – has accompanied his shooting sessions, shaping the atmosphere of his pictures.
