Øystein Sture Aspelund is a Norwegian photographer based in Oslo. Trained as an architect, he specializes in architectural and landscape photography, with a predilection for bringing Nature and Culture together: “I'm fascinated by the contrast between the two,” he explains, “and most of my projects illustrate this relationship.” He is particularly inspired by places that are subject to rapid change, allowing him to question the struggle between man and his environment. This is the case, for example, with his photos taken in the Himalayas. He publishes his pictures both in Norway and internationally, and also works for private companies on request. Several galleries in China, the USA and France offer his work for sale. Last but not least, he works in both digital and analog formats!
