Pierre Chambion is a native of the southwest of France. After spending his childhood in Albi, he was drawn to the ocean and moved to Biarritz where he developed a taste for board sports and the warm colours of sunrises and sunsets. In 2018, while still in charge of a sports shop and practising photography as an amateur, the Basque tourist office bought one of his photos: this was the trigger he was waiting for to take the plunge and turn photography into a career. By 2019, he had succeeded in devoting himself entirely to it. Today, he works with clients in tourism, real estate, catering, and events, alongside many personal photo projects. In 2021, several of his photos were used to illustrate the book "Voir la France loin de la foule" [France away from the crowds] (Hachette Éditions) and he exhibited at the Pili Tafernaberry art gallery in Bidart (Pyrénées-Atlantiques). In 2022, he obtained his diploma as a drone pilot, opening up new paths for creation but keeping the same source of inspiration: "the warm colours of a sunset".
