Although Nick Stark didn't turn to photography until 2010, he has already garnered over twenty international distinctions and notably the prize at the Sony World Photo Awards en 2014. The artist helms his prolific career from Munich, a city in the south of Germany where he was born in 1975 and still resides today. Trained in design up until 1997, this former advertising artistic director already approached colours with extreme precision and spoke of composition and balance in images with his associates without manipulating a camera himself or mastering retouch software. Playing on nearly perfect symmetries, the photographs of urban landscapes that he creates today have been published in several publications since 2013 and notably The New York Times, ELLE or Lufthansa Magazine.
