Evgeni Dinev was born in 1976 in Bourgas, a port city in Bulgaria, located on the edge of the Black Sea on the Balkan peninsula. His passion for landscape photography began when he was a teenager, thanks to the dark room he built for himself. This self-taught photographer owes his talent to his patience and determination to capture increasingly striking images on his travels. From his native country, on the borders of Europe, he has roamed mountains and natural wonderlands that change with the seasons, in order to find the right light to reveal the enchanting and pictorial aspects of nature. Transforming an ordinary point of view into a grandiose panorama, he compares himself to an artist at an easel, seeking to paint a picture by very carefully selecting his palette of colours. In Dinev's view, the magic and beauty that infuse his images are made possible by being in the right place at the right time.
