Arno Elias, founder of the "I'm Not A Trophy" project dedicated to the preservation of endangered species, raises awareness through its hand-painted photographs, like this picture created in 2016. The Earth has lost half of these wildlife species in less than 40 years. The zebras are massacred for the skin and the majority of the time their hides are sold to the fashion industry. With an estimated cost of $2 000 USD they are used for the production of bags, wallets, and coats...The zebra population has fallen from 15 000 in 1870 to 2 500 in 2016.
