Thomas Fotomas hails from the southwest of France. So it's hardly surprising that his main source of inspiration for his photos is...the beach and surfing! Trained as a graphic designer and passionate about images of all kinds, especially cinema, it was through photography that he chose to express himself in 2010: "Photography is the most accessible way to sample every moment of life and give it a personal touch," he explains. Through his photos, he aims above all to express emotion. Mixing photography and digital painting with the stylus of his graphic tablet. His renderings are reminiscent of long exposure times, creating an illusion. He gives life to singular, original works that stand in stark contrast to the usual beach photos, with their bold, assertive colors and characteristic linear movement.
