About the Artist
At the age of ten, Dan Martland received his first camera, a precious gift that sealed his passion for images and paved the way for a career as a director of photography in film and television. Now based in New York, he explores the city relentlessly in search of fresh angles. He contemplates the Manhattan skyline as an infinite canvas, where sun, moon and skyscrapers mingle in grandiose proportions and, armed with long focal lengths, plays with light and perspective to compose shots where reality flirts with dream.
