Born in 1993 in Los Angeles, Madeleine Gross studied Fine Arts at the Ontario College of Art & Design (Toronto). Specialising in photography, she creates colourful and imaginative artworks in which she combines the reality of daily life and abstraction. By adding a few daubs of paint, the artist enhances her photographs with texture and colours, so as to create new immersive stories for her viewers. Madeleine Gross finds inspiration in nature, her memories, and small moments in everyday life. Merging the reality of photography with abstract art, the artist offers viewers a more playful and joyful way of seeing the world.
