Born in 1967 in the Parisian region, Stéphane Gil likes to say that he practices the Art of Illusion. A musician, composer, and sound engineer for nearly thirty years, he decided to add a new string to his digital bow at the age of 50, with graphic design. To channel his ideas and master technique, he studied and obtained a degree in Graphic Design. Besides this honorific title, his pride and joy is having succeeded at this conversion, as he now makes a living from his passion. Inspired by pop culture, film, the New Wave, and computers, the French artist creates realistic artworks tinged with graphic design. He uses a range of 3D software in service to a rigorous creative process whose goal is to demonstrate that industrial design can be sculptural and beautiful, beyond any other consideration.
