JANEK SEDLAR
A self-taught photographer since 2011, Janek Sedlář lives and works in the Czech Republic. Born in Lipov, in the White Carpathians mountain range in the South Moravian Region, the artist spent his childhood exploring the surroundings. He played, ran, and climbed the famous trees of the region, which is today a protected nature reserve. At the age of 27, he decided to return to his land, camera in hand, to attempt to put his childhood memories into images and capture all the beauty of nature at its best. Janek Sedlář is sentimentally attached to this natural environment. He shares that passion through intimate and picturesque shots that give a sense of inner freedom and reveal the results of his intensely focused work.
