Dani WIECZOREK

Born in Brazil, the artist is a photographer and multidisciplinary artist based in Los Angeles. Before fully dedicating herself to her artistic practice, she spent over sixteen years working as a producer in advertising, film, and branding. Her transition into photography in recent years marks a decisive shift, shaped by her background in visual storytelling and image-making across commercial spaces.Born with a limb difference, this lived experience has become a central point of reference in her work, informing a deep reflection on visibility, bodily representation, and spaces of belonging. Her practice seeks to create images in which bodies exist beyond ideals of performance, embracing presence in its most authentic and singular form.Through series such as I Am a Piece of Art and Livre Leve Solta, she constructs spaces of representation grounded in care, dignity, and the celebration of individuality. Her work has been exhibited internationally, including in Los Angeles, Venice, London, Paris, Barcelona, and Korea. She is currently the executive producer of the documentary project PRESENTE!, which follows Black Brazilian women political and community leaders in their fight for human rights.
