Attracting as well the numerous inhabitants of Sydney, the experimented surfers that the tourists in search of sun and azure water, the beach of Bondi Beach, located at the outskirts of the city, is one of the most famous in Australia. Extending over more than 1 kilometer, its Bondi name is an aboriginal meaning word of the noise of the water breaking on rocks. Richard Hirst, who knows neighborhood better than anybody, chooses to photograph it in height and so offers a new perspective of this paradisiac Pacific coast. The turquoise blue color of the ocean becomes intensified through the prism of its objective, the golden sand is illuminated.
