Tom BalcoTom Balco's first contact with photography came as a teenager, when he wanted to photograph the skateboarding trips he took with his friends. It was when he moved to the Côte d'Azur to study at business school that he bought his first Reflex camera. Passionate about cars, they were his first sources of inspiration. However, “very quickly, I found it more interesting to capture everything that embodies the French Riviera lifestyle at its most ostentatious, but also its most aesthetic”, he explains. Now based in Monaco, he collaborates with major brands and has even signed shoots with Formula 1 drivers Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris. A child of digital technology, he also shoots in film: “I always try to bring a vintage touch to my photos, creating the strange feeling of already being nostalgic for a moment or a current situation,” he confides.
