Barbara Cultrera

With a degree in literature and philosophy, Barbara Cultera first began her career on stage, as an actress and classical dancer for many years. She later became a journalist, working for both print and broadcast media. She even spent a few years as editor-in-chief of the Italian Prime Minister's online journal dedicated to equal opportunity rights. It was during the Covid crisis that photography came into her life: “thanks to it, I began to experiment with new techniques and new languages,” she explains. Now based in Rome, she is equally at home with sports coverage, still life or more artistic photos, and is, she says, “always passionately in search of new inspiration.”
