Mohammadreza Rezania was born in 1984 in Teheran, capital of the Islamic Republic of Iran. Given the political situation in his country, the artistic isolation he experienced led him to train himself in photographic tools and techniques, using online tutorials, among other means. He launched his professional career in 2012. In search of human beauty, Mohammadreza Rezania mainly devotes his time to fashion photography and portraiture. His shots have garnered many international awards and notably the Prix de la Photographie in Paris (Px3), the most prestigious photography award in Europe. “My aim is to create a sense of singularity for the spectator. When people see my images, I want them to feel unity, magnificence, and splendour. I do my best to create portraits full of emotion: that is my most precious objective,” he affirms.
