Igor Vorobey has a life path that we could describe as very international: born in Uzbekistan, he grew up in Germany before studying in Russia, and now, he works as a professional photographer based in Barcelona, Spain. He collaborates with magazines, photo agencies, and publishing houses. He has very little interest in competitions and awards, appreciating the luxury of being able to “travel, write and take photos”. His photos play on glamour, seduction and impertinence, or sometimes all three at once! In his book 398 Magical Moments of Photography he brings together shoots undertaken in Russia, Spain, and the Dominican Republic, showcasing what he calls “the beauty of the feminine body” most often nude. He explains the process of his shoots, editing, and selecting photos, mainly taken outdoors, directly in the street, rather than in the studio. “Everything I do in my life is a declaration of love,” he jovially exclaims.
