Izuky Pérez is a Cuban photographer based in Havana. His interest in photography emerged in his native region of Holguin, in the east of the island of Cuba. He was an IT professor at a polytechnical school when he discovered the power of photo retouching software. A whole new means of expression opened up before him that he couldn’t resist. He then started to do his own experiments with digital photography, and will never stop. To date, he has tried his hand at various styles and continues to learn every day the trade that has now become his daily life. When he moved to the capital, his talent was quickly recognised, no matter what type of exercise he devoted himself to: portraiture; urban, fashion, and architectural photography; or nudes.
