Born in Scotland, Lee Howell lives and works in Edinburgh as a freelance photographer. A graduate of the British Institute of Professional Photography in 2013, the following year he received an award dedicated to the best Scottish photographer of the year. Active in the fields of advertising, fashion, or portraiture, the photographer presents an audacious portfolio, which has been distributed and exhibited not only in the United Kingdom (RETINA Scottish International Photography Festival 2014) but also internationally (Oslo, September 2014). His creations are produced both in the studio and outdoors. They stand out through his unique style of composing powerful, lively images that combine traditional practice and post-production technique. He has already collaborated with major brands such as Adobe or Team Bowen and received prestigious awards, including the Prix d'Or at the Towergate Fine Art Awards and third place at the IPA Awards in 2013.
