TouchMeFreddy is a duo of complementary artists. Alexander Boguslavskii is a photographer. He grew up in Moscow, Russia, and was just 8 when he was given his first traditional camera, a Smena 8M. Over the years this pastime became a passion, then a true vocation. He tried his hand at digital photography, then familiarised himself with ambrotypes, an old photographic procedure that inspired him to seek out new artistic opportunities. Daria Shantsina is a multitalented personality. An artist, designer, expert in antique weaponry, and a gallery owner, she is constantly looking for new ways of learning and expressing her creativity. With Alexander Boguslavskii, she has found one. She expertly painted on ambrotypes, guided solely by the laws of composition and abstract thought.
