Born in Lyon, Julien Romano discovered the magic of the eighth art in 2011 with an Olympus EPL-2. For years, the 12 Mpx accompanied him on his travels to the four corners of the earth. Australia, Thailand, India… Each trip afforded the artist the opportunity to capture unique moments. Over the years, his style evolved. From basic travel shots, his approach became more personal, refined by meticulous retouches using Lightroom and Photoshop. Constantly striving for balance and perfection, nowadays Julien prefers a minimalist style. In 2023, he made a radical choice: he sold all of his equipment to invest in a Fujifilm X100V with a non-interchangeable, fixed 35 mm focal. His goal? To focus on the essential, emotions and unusual elements.
